Laura Bruns Bresnahan, owner of Factotum Brewhouse, wrote one of the most vulnerable, honest, and gut wrenching posts on Factotum’s Instagram, about how Covid has affected her business. I think the toughest part to read, was essentially a plea to sell 33 $30 crowlers, as that is what stands between Factotum Brewhouse making it to June, “unscathed.”
I hope you take the time to read her post on Instagram. I find it so brave, and really humbling. I have spent so much time at Factotum, a gem of a brewery, and such a wonderful part of the Highlands. We don’t want to lose them… and we don’t want Factotum Brewhouse to feel forgotten. – Kayla
“Doesn’t it feel like the movie Groundhog Day sometimes? We’re nearly 10 days out from the end of the month and again we’re looking for a miracle in the last stretch of May. I know we’re all so mentally exhausted from the current state of affairs. The sentiment of supporting local is starting to wane. But we’re still here and we still desperately need your support to continue on this unknown path. Last month you rallied and you shared my post and the response was knee buckling humbling.
Would you consider being a miracle customer in May too? We need 33 people to take advantage of our 3 for $30 crowler deal to help us get to June unscathed. Thirty- three ❤❤❤”
I hope you buy lots + lots of Factotum beer! I know Laura’s words speak for so many of our Denver breweries. Let’s all keep supporting them. They have not just provided great local beer to us, but have been a place to gather with our friends and make memories. Thanks for reading! Below, find their hours, etc! And here’s Factotum’s Instagram.
