5 Bloody Marys You Gotta Drink Right Now!

Old Major bloody mary, Denver

Old Major found a way to combine our two favorite things, a boozy Bloody Mary and a charcuterie board, all in one. It’s called, “The Works” and we bow down to this weekend hangover helper.

Old Major makes their Bloody Marys in-house from scratch, every weekend, and while they contain some of the usual suspects made to concoct this delicious brunch beverage, Old Major throws in some surprise elements too, such as steak sauce and Real Dill pickle brine. Best of all, you can take your pick of garnish options: There’s “The Gardner” with a pickle spear, fresh lemon & lime and Castelvetrano olives; “The Monger,” which is adorned with a giant Chesapeake bay seasoned shrimp or “The Butcher,” which rocks a healthy serving of Old Major’s house-smoked ham. Want it all? Opt for “The Works” (pictured) which has combines all three toppings!

Old Major is located at 3316 Tejon St, Denver, CO 80211. You can find their hours, here.

The Corner Office bloody mary, Denver

The Corner Office is #1 in our hearts for best bloody mary DIY bar. This bottomless option, available at their Disco Brunch on Sundays, will set you back $15, but it’s more than worth it as the assortment of fixin’s are stellar: marinated olives, haricots verts, watermelon radishes, shoestring potatoes, bacon ( 2 KINDS, PEOPLE!), pork belly, various hot sauces and spices, pickled eggplant, and much more.

Combo up the right ingredients and it’s a veritable ’round the world Bloody Mary experience. Kimchi, Pickled Eggplant, Pickled Vegetables, Wasabi, Bonito Flakes and Julienne Nori will lend themselves to an Asian-inspired Mary; Sliced Jalapeños, Cilantro, Lime Wedges, Chipotle Puree, Chalula Hot Sauce, Tapatio Hot Sauce and Chicharones will pay homage to a Latin-themed Bloody and there’s even ingredients that will help you build a Creole Bloody, such as Hot Pickled Okra, Cornichones, Giardiniera, Caper Berries, Cocktail Onions, Calabrese Peppers, Horseradish and more.

We can’t decide which is best – comparing who in your group made the most snap-worthy Bloody Mary, or drinking said snap-worthy Bloody Mary. (Ok, it’s definitely drinking the Bloody Mary.)

The Corner Office is located at 1401 Curtis Street, Denver, CO 80202. Find their hours, here.

The District bloody mary, Denver

The District knows you’re hurting this morning and only a little fried chicken somethin’-somethin’ is going to turn that frown upside down.  The bloodies (and mimosas) are bottomless on Saturdays and Sundays, so this is a definite spot to keep the party going, rather than just recover from it!

The District is located at 1320 E 17th Ave, Denver, CO 80218.

You might think we were seduced by this Bloody Mary from Bacon Social House just based on the big hunk of meat squarely sticking out of it, but we assure you, it’s got a bold taste to match. First thing first, pick your vodka – perhaps you’d like it bacon infused, pickle infused or black peppercorn infused – they’ve got all that. In fact, you can even have a bacon bourbon Mary or a spicy citrus vodka Mary. They just want you to be happy.  Next comes the mix, which we find to be a good, even spice-base, if you’re looking for something more a fiery, they’re happy to accommodate, and will help you pick the appropriate vodka and finishing spices.

DON’T MISS: The bacon flight which accommodates any of the above bad boys, perfectly.

Bacon Social House is located at 2434 W 44th Ave, Denver, CO 80211. Find their hours, here.
Snooze bloody mary, Denver

Snooze knows how to make you forget that you just waited an hour and a half in line to have brunch. It’s with this kid, which you can order straight up or spicy. I say go spicy and enjoy that extra kick from the habanero & jalapeño infused vodka which perfectly commingles with the Mell Vodka and the Snooze House Bloody Mix.

Snooze, An AM Eatery, is located at various locations around the city. Find them, and their hours, here.
