1. STAY IN AN AMAZING COLORADO AIR BNB, WITH INCREDIBLE VIEWS

Some of these adventures will be easy day trips from Denver. But for those of us who REALLY NEED TO GET AWAY, here are my favorite Air Bnbs in Colorado, with views.

Now if you find a lot of these already booked up, good news, 303 Magazine put together their list of best (and romantic) Air Bnbs to stay in Colorado. Find that, here.  Now if a luxe hotel stay is more your speed, 3280 Magazine put together a list of the best mountain hotels to stay at. Find it here.

I can completely vouch for how wonderful The Ritz Carlton at Bachelor Gulch is. At the time I went, I was completely burnt out and needing a beautiful escape. Without a doubt, The Ritz Carlton at Bachelor Gulch is a truly magical get-a-way and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I came back so refreshed and rested (I think a visit to the spa and many, to the hot tub, helped)!  But don’t get me wrong, if you’re an avid athlete, you’ll love this get-a-way too, you can cross country, sled, and hike!  Skiers are especially in luck, as The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch is perched right on Beaver Creek Mountain, so you can ski in and out!

2. GO VISIT A HOT SPRING

I put together a list of my favorite hot springs, here. Maybe you want more choices! No problem, Visit Colorado put together this comprehensive list of 31 Colorado Hot Springs. I would definitely cross reference against Trip Advisor and Yelp reviews, just to make sure they have the amenities you want.

3. BUT HAVE YOU EVER TUMBLE BUBBLED?

The winter is a perfect time to be a kid again. So I think you should take some time to Tumble Bubbles! You’ll get a legit workout, while laughing your ass off, all in the beautiful outdoors. You can find Tumble Bubbles at the Frisco Adventure Park and in Breckenridge. Grab more info, here.

4. LET’S GO CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

303 Magazine did the heavy lifting here, compiling 9 of the best places to cross country ski. Find that article, here.

5. GO FAT BIKING aka BIKE SNOW TRAILS

Feeling more adventurous, you should try fat biking! With huge tires, wider rims & a lower tire pressure for extra grip on the terrain, you can seriously have a wild snow day on the trails. Check out Breck Bike Guides in Breckenridge, & Front Range Guides for rentals & guides.

Even my most athletic friends have found themselves falling on their butts while fat biking… here are some great tips to peruse before you jump on your fat bike!

6. ENJOY THESE AMAZING PLACES TO SNOW SHOE

5280 Magazine put together this awesome list of 19 places to snow shoe. Love all the details from this article, which includes the distance of the path, the elevation and what equipment you might need.

7. GO OUTDOOR ICE SKATING

Ice skating is fun, but outdoor ice skating, with views, is even more fun! 303 Magazine put together this great list, of the 5 best places to outdoor skate, here.

Hope you love all these adventures!  If you like this article, it would mean so much if you could share on your social channels, just use the buttons, below, to the left. THANK YOU!
